Since 2016, Zoltan Csepregi has been the coach of the Carleton Ravens water polo program managing both the men's and women's teams.
Under Csepregi, the Ravens have won six consecutive OUA silver medals.
Csepregi, a native of Ottawa, ON, is no stranger to the Carleton men’s water polo program. From 2010-2014, Csepregi was the head coach of the Ravens, leading the team to two OUA championship banners while also contributing to Carleton student-athletes earning 12 OUA Water Polo All-Stars.
An accomplished athlete in his own right, Csepregi attended Carleton and played for the men’s water polo team from 2004-2007. The two-time Ravens MVP had his most successful year in his final season, as Csepregi led Carleton to the 2007 OUA title while also being named the championship’s most valuable player that season.
Prior to competing for Carleton’s men’s water polo team, Csepregi represented Canada internationally for several years. He donned his country’s colours at variety of prestigious competitions, including the Pan American Games, the World University Games and the World Championships.
Csepregi has also been involved as a technical advisor for the Ontario Water Polo Association, worked as a delegate for the Canadian National Championship League and as a program coordinator for the Water Polo Canada Youth National Team.
Csepregi holds two university degrees, including a Bachelor in Social Sciences (Political Science) from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor in Arts (Psychology) from Carleton University.
