OTTAWA, Ontario - The Carleton Ravens women's basketball team is pleased to announce the commitment of Mackenzie Ash-Smith for the upcoming varsity season.
Ash-Smith is a six-foot tall forward and joins the Ravens squad after previously playing for the Dawson College Blues in Montreal.
Head Coach Dani Sinclair says Ash-Smith adds skill and physicality to the team's lineup.
"Mackenzie is a physical and skilled forward that will add great versatility and depth to our lineup. She plays at a high level and can play multiple positions at both ends of the floor. We are thrilled to welcome Mackenzie to our program. "
