The Ravens are ready for a packed weekend of fall action, headlined by a week 1 rematch at Queen’s and a pair of OUA Championships.
Coming in hot off their third-place finish at the OUA Regional the Carleton Ravens Golf team heads to Cherry Hill on Friday for a one-day battle against the OUA’s best. Coming off top 10 finishes at the regionals, the Ravens will look to Kyle Warton (Sutton, Ont.) and Josh Goheen (Ottawa, Ont.) to repeat their impressive performances. On the women’s side, Emma Harvie (Greely, Ont.) will have to wait just a bit longer to get her first taste of OUA competition this season as she takes the course in the final foursome of the day at 12:12 p.m.

The Ravens travel down the 401 on Friday for a pair of matches under the lights at Vaso’s Field. After an impressive draw on Monday, the women (1-3-2) look to continue their recent pace as they face the winless Ridgebacks (0-5) at 6:00 p.m.

In the second game, the Ravens return to the pitch fresh off a bye week, looking to extend their impressive 4-0 start against a fiesty Ontario Tech team who have played to two impressive draws in a row.

The Ravens will enter Richardson Stadium on Saturday afternoon for a rematch against the Gaels. The new OUA schedule provides the Ravens a rare opportunity for an in-season rematch after falling to the Gaels 18-6 in the season opener. The Ravens (2-2) are coming off a victory last Friday against UofT which featured another 100-yard performance from Nathan Carter and a last-minute, game-winning field goal from rookie kicker Brandon Forcier. The Gaels (4-0) have the best record in the OUA and are looking to clinch first-place in the OUA East.
Kick-off from Richardson Stadium is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on OUA.tv
After a solid second-place finish by Meghan Jolley, in the women’s lightweight at the Head of the Trent Regatta, the Ravens head to St. Catharine’s for the Brock Invitational – their final tune-up ahead of the OUA Championship at the end of the month. The Ravens also had a strong performance in the university men’s 4+ as Austin Krystek’s boat finished seconds ahead of Western for second place.
With a trip to the playoffs secured, the Ravens head into Sherbrooke on Saturday evening for a final regular season tune-up against the Bishop’s Gaiters. The Ravens have been on a roll of late, knocking off the Montreal Carabins last week to take their RSEQ record to 4-1. The Gaiters (2-3) challenged the Ravens in the rain two weeks ago and are now coming off a 31-point victory over the McGill Martlets last weekend.
The action at Coulter Field gets underway at 5:00 p.m. with a free broadcast from the Bishop’s Gaiters.
In their second season of OUA competition, the Carleton Ravens baseball team is back at the OUA Championship. With a shot at second OUA medal in as many trips to the championship on the line, the Ravens will look to continue their playoff unbeaten streak in a short two game tournament at Ajax Sportsplex. The Ravens powerful bats head match-up in the semi-final against the A Regional winner McMaster Mauraders.
Men’s soccer return to the Ravens’ Perch for the first time in 14 days on Sunday afternoon. The Ravens offence has been impressive, with 20 goals in their first four fixtures the OUA by a full goal per game averaging 5.0.
While Ravens Soccer is a non-ticketed event, the Raven’s Perch has limited capacity for students. All individuals wishing to attend the game are encouraged to arrive early, as a spot will not be guaranteed. Prior to arriving at the event, there must be a complete mandatory screening done through cuScreen.
