The Ravens enter Friday night’s game 1-2 in an incredibly tight OUA East. With a 6-1 modern-era record against the Varsity Blues, Carleton looks to bounce back from a last-minute Panda Game loss. Entering Friday, Toronto (1-1) is 4th in the East and coming off a bye, while the Ravens have a short week following last Saturday’s contest on Bank Street. After a difficult loss to Ottawa, Carleton will once again look to rookie QB Reid Vankoughnett to lead the offense. In his OUA debut, the pivot from Winnipeg finished with six completions in the second half including a touchdown pass to Khalik Johnson during the Ravens late fourth quarter comeback. Carleton’s offense will also look for a boost from fifth-year running back Nathan Carter. The Ottawa product rushed for over 100 yards on Saturday, while breaking the programs All-Time Rushing Yards record.LIVE ON OUA.TV
Following a string of decisive wins Ravens’ rugby head on the road for a rematch of their home opener with revenge on their mind. The only blemish on the Ravens 2021 record is a 17-5 loss to Montreal back on September 11. The Ravens squad has been much improved in the last month, tightening up on defense only allowing 5 points through their last three contests. The two teams take to the pitch to battle for first place at the Terrain Vincent d’Indy with kickoff schedule for 1:00 p.m.
Women’s Soccer at Ottawa
Coming off their first win in the season, the Ravens women’s soccer team will be facing a familiar foe on Thanksgiving weekend. The Ravens first travel to uOttawa, to face the Gee-Gees on Saturday at Matt Anthony Field. Entering the game, uOttawa is tied with Queen’s for first in the OUA East standings with a flawless 3-0 record. The Ravens come off a weekend where they managed to earn points in both matches, following a 1-1 draw on Friday night with a dominating performance in a 9-0 victory on Sunday afternoon. Women’s Soccer vs. uOttawa
When the Ravens and Gee-Gees take the pitch the intensity is always on high. Only two days after the teams meet in Sandy Hill, the Ravens will return to the Perch for yet another fixture against the Gee-Gees. Slated for a 3:00 p.m. the match features two teams who have already combined for 26 goals in seven matches.
While Ravens Soccer is a non-ticketed event, the Raven’s Perch has limited capacity for students. All individuals wishing to attend the game are encouraged to arrive early, as a spot will not be guaranteed.
