OTTAWA, Ontario - The Carleton Ravens are pleased to announce the addition of Luca Piccioli to the men's soccer team for the upcoming season.
I wanted to further my education in an environment that would be most beneficial to me as a person and Carleton was the perfect fit for me in that department. I was also very attracted to the high level and competitive soccer program.
Growing closer with this great group of guys, continuing to improve as a player and of course the chance to the fight for a national championship.
I started playing soccer when I was about 4 years old. It’s been apart huge of my life for as long as I can remember.
I’m a player that loves combination play with my teammates to play around our opposition anywhere on the pitch but can also dribble out of trouble when needed. Of course, I model my game after David Silva, an incredibly cool player who provided many assists with his innovative passing.
I’m quite comfortable in playing out of tight spaces as well as playing through balls for my attackers. I’m also able to switch the field of play with a long pass or come up with a goal threatening shot within 25 yards. I definitely need to improve on my strength and my endurance.
I am in the social science stream of ESP. I chose this program as it offers all the necessary tools for me to get back into school as I’ve taken a couple years off. I believe the extra help with be monumental in helping me get the proper habits to be successful in University.
Playing soccer of course but I also enjoy trying out different sports with my friends. I love watching tv shows, movies and of course anime.
