Carleton finished second at the OUA Women's Fencing Championships over the weekend at RMC in Kingston. They earned a solid 182 points.
The Ravens were chasing their fourth championship, after winning three of the four titles.
In the team relay events, Carleton earned gold in the women’s épée with Isabelle Gauthier, Emese Dukai and Sharon Schuppe on the team.
Ravens Adrienne Sukunda, Kristin Delcellier, Mackenzie Veitch came third in the women's team sabre.
On the first day of the competition, Gauthier won gold in the individual épée while Dukai earned bronze. Sukunda won gold in the individual sabre event.
Gauthier and Sukunda were named OUA All-Stars.
Queen's ended up winning the OUA Women's Fencing Championships with 251 points while RMC finished in third place.
The men's team will compete at their championships at Brock on February 21 and February 22 in Saint Catherines.
