OTTAWA – The Carleton Ravens are proud to celebrate a record-setting 128 Academic All-Canadians. With representation from all 13 of the Ravens varsity teams, the student-athletes honoured are a representation of the passion and perseverance that personifies what it means to be a Raven. This cohort of dedicated student-athletes was able to balance complex training regiments with intense course loads while managing the changing restrictions of the pandemic.
“It’s an incredible accomplishment,” said Associate Vice-President (Recreation and Athletics) Jennifer Brenning. “They showed perseverance and resiliency during the pandemic when we had no sports competition and all their academic programming was online.”
These remarkable student-athletes represent all six of Carleton’s faculties and have earned their recognition by maintaining an average grade of 80% or higher while being rostered with a varsity team.
