The Carleton University Ravens Golf team finished 4th, at the 2007 OUA Golf Championships, hosted by Carleton University at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club, in Aylmer, Quebec. The Carleton University Men's team finished 12th.
The Ravens Women's team, playing in their first OUA Championship as a full compliment of 4 golfers, did not disappoint as they missed earning a provincial medal by 23 strokes to the eventual third place team, the University of Waterloo Warriors, 529 to 552. "I am very pleased with their performance considering three of the players are rookies," said Women's Coach Gail Blake.
The Ravens were led by Kate Hill, Ottawa, Ontario with a two day score of 175, Hill missed being named an OUA All-Star by one position as she finished 9th overall and the Top 8 are OUA All-Stars. Kate Bondett, Ottawa, Ontario shot 186, Bailey Murdoch, Wakefield, Quebec shot 191 and Karen Millage shot 208 for the Ravens as they recorded a two day total of 552.
The Men finished 12th with a two day team score of 655. The Ravens were led by Chris Collins, Ottawa, Ontario with a two day total of 156. Adam Kingsbury, Ottawa, Ontario shot 163, Brett Merriman, Ottawa, shot 165, Duff Charette, Ottawa, shot 169 and Ben Bell, Ottawa rounded out the Ravens with a two-day total of 172, giving Carleton a team score of 655, same result as 2006 in St. Catharines, Ontario.
