OTTAWA – Ravens’ back Vannessa Chiappetta (Rigaud, Que.) adds RSEQ Athlete of the Week honours to her resume after impressive week 3.
Rigaud, Quebec’s Vanessa Chiappetta was explosive in the Ravens’ week 3 win against the McGill Martlets. The second-year back Criminology and Criminal Justice major had four tries and was named game MVP. Chiappetta opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game, adding her second try before the ten-minute mark of the contest. In the second half, she added two more tries, including a highlight-reel run that started at midfield.
