OTTAWA – The Carleton Ravens are proud to announce the commitment 2019 New Brunswick Female Player of the Year Chloé Doiron. The New Brunswick High Performance REX Academy and Club de soccer Dieppe forward will join the team in 2022 after leading New Brunswick in scoring in the 2019 and 2021 seasons.
Having previously been invited to Soccer Canada’s U17 National ID camp, Doiron is no strange to high-level soccer. Late to the game of soccer, having only started to play competitively at the age of 13, Doiron has been on regional and national radar ever since.
Self-described as a diverse and adaptable player, Doiron will brings vision and pass to the Ravens forward line. Doiron will look to apply herself as intensely in the classroom as she will in training and on the pitch. The young recruit from Dieppe will be continuing her education in Carleton’s renowned Faculty of Engineering and Design.
“The school interested me at first because I knew some people that had gone and said they loved it,” said Doiron. “After a little more research, I found a lot that I loved about the school, the facilities, the location and especially the soccer program. It was a great fit academically and athletically.”
