The Carleton Ravens men's soccer program has a long history of players advancing to professional and international competition. With a roster of players from around the world, Carleton players have participated in professional leagues and international matches throughout the programs illustrious history.
Through June of 2024, Bitar has appeared in 7 games for Lebanon including being named a squad member for the 2024 AFC Asian Cup becoming the first former Ravens player to participate in a major international competition. Bitar made two appearances in the tournament. His international debut was in December 30, 2022 in a friendly against the United Arab Emirates.
A 39-year old rookie when he arrived at Carleton, John Louro arrived on campus with international and professional experience having represented Angola. Prior to arrive at Carleton in 1993, Louro had also spent time in the WACS and CSL with the Edmonton Brick men and Calgary Kickers/Strikers.
