OTTAWA (May 13, 2024) - Coach Marcelo Plada and the Carleton Ravens men's soccer team are wrapping up a busy spring by announcing their incoming forwards for the 2024 season. After great success in 2023, the Ravens are looking to build onto a strong returning core as they seek to repeat as OUA Champions.
The Ravens will have work to do to continue to contend with the best in the OUA, but with the U SPORTS Championships just down the road at Ontario Tech, the Ravens are hungry to get the work started.
"These players are young, fast, ambitious and ready to compete for a spot," explained Marcelo. "They'll compete among the great players we already have in the forward line, but we also have a touch of experience in there with a former pro player."
"I think overall, this forward line is going to be pretty unique in terms of their abilities on the ball, off the ball and their attitude in-game and off-game." This worklike forward core joined four midfields and five defenders previously announced.
