About Dance Pak

Ravens Dance Pak was established in 2011 and is Carleton University's one and only competitive dance team. Ravens Dance Pak strives to cultivate an environment where individuals can pursue their competitive dance training whilst keeping their post secondary education at the forefront of their university experience. Along with attending two competitions within the month of March, Ravens Dance Pak provides other fun, creative, and positive opportunities where their members can grow as both dancers and humans.

Tryouts are open to dancers of all levels. We lead a warm-up, a technique portion, and Two auditions are held at the beginning of the school year in September and are open to dancers of all levels. Both auditions include a warm-up, a technique/across the floor portion, and a combination dancers will learn and perform in small groups. There is an audition fee of $10. The executive members select dancers from the first auditions to come back for the second audition (call-back audition). After the call-back audition, the executive members select desired dancers to establish a team. More information and registration can be found on their Instagram page @ravensdancepak
