Men’s Golfer Humphrey Yeung Claims Gold Medal at OUA Golf Championships!
Carleton University Ravens Men’s Golfer Humphrey Yeung (Markham, Ontario) claimed the individual men’s golfing title at the 2008 OUA Golf Championships held Saturday, October 18-21, at Crosswinds Golf Course hosted by McMaster University.

Yeung, a first year golfer for Carleton, had an impressive performance leading the men's field. On Saturday Yeung shot a 75, followed by a 73 in his final round for a combined score of 148 to earn the individual championship.
Patrick Forbes (Toronto, Ontario) of the Queen's Gaels shot a 149 to take the silver, while John Atherton (Toronto, Ontario) of the Laurentian Voyageurs and Toronto's Cord finished tied for third with a score of 150.
Yeung has successfully made his mark amongst the top golfers in the province in the 2008-09 season taking home a well-deserved gold medal.To cap off a strong season for Yeung, he was honored with a 2008 OUA First-Team All-Star award following his performance at the OUA Championships.
The Carleton men's team shot for a combined total of 632 in the tournament and placed 6th overall tied with Laurentian University and the University of Ottawa who had identical team scores over the two days.
