Spence and Maheshe Named Athlete of the Week

It was a high scoring week for the Carleton Ravens with no one scoring more timely points than Jayden Spence (women's rugby) and Oushman Maheshe (men's soccer). With two tries and a home opener hat trick, Spence and Maheshe have earned the week three honour as Athlete of the Week.

Jayden Spence 

The fourth-year forward from Windsor, Nova Scotia scored two key tries on Sunday as the Carleton Ravens battled to a tie with the Bishop's Gaiters. Spence also earned the teams award as attacker of the game. 

Ousman Maheshe

In his home debut, the former FC Edmonton and Halifax Wanderers prospect showed his professional finishing abilities as he exploded for three goals. Maheshe needed just three minutes to bring the TAAG Park crowd to its feet before scoring in the 73rd and 89th minutes to cap off the victory.
