Ravens Set to Open Title Defence October 23
The Carleton Ravens men's basketball team will defend their 18th U SPORTS title when they open the 2026-27 OUA schedule on October 23.
Regular season basketball returns to the Ravens' Nest on October 23, 2026, when the Carleton Ravens open their 2026 season against Laurentian.
The Ravens will defend their 18th U SPORTS title across 11 on-campus home games in 2026-27 with six fall and five winter dates. Carleton will host Laurentian and Ontario Tech on the opening weekend before welcoming Algoma and Queen's on October 30 and 31.
After taking the road for a couple of weeks, Carleton wraps up the first half of the home schedule by hosting Guelph and McMaster on November 20-21.
The second half of the season will get off to a hot start when the Ravens welcome the Gee-Gees to the Nest on Friday, January 8, 2027. The Bytown Battle takes place just over a month before the annual Colonel By Classic at TD Place. The Ravens wrap up the regular season with home games against Nipissing, Western, and Windsor, and a Sunday game against York on February 7.
Looking to catch the Ravens on the road, the Ravens tour the Waterloo region November 6 and 7, travel to Ontario Tech and Queen's November 13 and 14 and face Brock on November 28. In the second half, the Ravens travel to Lakehead on January 22, before a Wilson Cup rematch with TMU on January 29. The Ravens will play Toronto the next night at Goldring. Carleton finishes their 2026-27 regular season with a trip to Laurentian and Nipissing on February 12 and 13.
The OUA playoffs are scheduled to play out over three weeks, with round 1 action taking place February 17 before the action shifts to Saturdays with the quarterfinals February 20, semifinals February 27, and the Wilson Cup on March 6, 2027.
