Men's Hockey Add Caron to Staff
Former Ravens captain Cody Caron has resigned with the Ravens men's hockey team, returning to the role of assistant coach alongside Patrick Delisle-Houde.
The Carleton Ravens men's hockey team have announced Cody Caron will remain with the team as a full-time assistant coach alongside Patrick Delisle-Houde.
A member of the Ravens from 2017-21, Cody played 64 games at Carleton before having a three-year professional career. In 2019-20, Cody led the Ravens in goals (14) and points (25). After time with Cincinnati and Utah, Cody returned to the Ravens in 2023 as an assistant coach.
"I'm incredibly grateful and excited for the opportunity to join the new coaching staff full-time," shared Cody. "Having been part of the program over the past two years, I know firsthand the potential this group has, and I'm excited to build on that."
"We are very excited to have Cody joining us full-time," shared Ravens head coach Patrick Delisle-Houde. "He is bringing to the program an incredible passion for the game, lots of grit, pro experience and a winning mindset from his time as a player here with the Carleton Ravens."
Returning for his third season, Caron now takes on a full-time role with the team. "I'm especially grateful that our new head coach, Patrick Delisle-Houde, sees the value I can bring to the program and has given me the opportunity to continue growing in this role."
A native of Ste. Sault Marie, Cody was the Ravens' captain in his final season. "Choosing to stay at Carleton was an easy decision. Carleton has always felt like home to me."
The coaching staff and the Ravens continue to prepare for the 2026-27 season as they await the release of the OUA schedule.
