Six Ravens Heading to East-West Bowl
Four players and two coaches will represent the Carleton Ravens at the 2026 East-West Bowl in Waterloo, Ontario. Elijah Barnes, Jake Henderson, Justin Belanger and DeAndre McKenzie will attend the weekend along with coaches Mack Holliday and Tunde Adeleke.
Barnes (Ancaster, Ont.) is coming off a season where he split time with Tristan Lefebvre, passing for seven touchdowns and 1,634 yards. In 2024, Barnes set a Ravens program record of 2,285 yards.
Henderson had 23.0 tackles, a forced fumble and six pass breakups while appearing in all 8 games for the Ravens. Throughout his career, the Ottawa product has steadily climbed into a major leadership role with the Ravens.
Belanger (Ottawa, Ont.) is coming off a breakout season with the Ravens, recording 21.5 and one sack. A commerce student from Ottawa, Justin became a force in the Ravens' linebacker core while staying healthy and appearing in all eight games last season.
McKenzie (Toronto, Ont.) earned a consistent role with the Ravens' defensive line in 2025, collecting 6.0 tackles, including 1.0 for loss.
Special Teams coordinator Mack Holliday will hold the same role at the East-West Bowl, while fellow alumni Tunde Adeleke will apply his CFL knowledge as the Defensive Backs Assistant.
The U SPORTS East-West Bowl takes place at 12:30, Saturday, May 9, on Warrior Field.
