Ottawa, Ont. (November 3, 2025) - The Carleton Ravens started their home weekend of the 2025 season with a win Friday night over Nipissing.
The Ravens got off to a strong start on Friday night, jumping out to a quick 10-5 lead over the Nipissing Lakers. Nipissing would take the lead late in the quarter before Aubrey Dorey-Havens drained a three to restore Carleton's advantage. After ten fast-paced minutes, Carleton led 21-20 at the break.
The Ravens pulled ahead the rest of the way with Dorey-Havens opening the second with a three from Nelson Cilien. After a solid rally, an MJ Okado three forced the Lakers to call a timeout down 11.
Carleton never looked back, continuing to build their lead for a 77-57 win.
The Ravens had their way with Nipissing inside, outscoring the Lakers 38-10 in the paint while dominating the rebounding battle 50-25. Louth-Mohamed Coulibably had a double-double in his home debut. The graduate transfer had 12 rebounds and 12 points to go along with one block.
Aubrey-Dorey Havens led all Ravens with 18 points and five assists. The Carleton bench chipped in with 26 points. Despite the win, Carleton shot only 58.8% at the line.
