The Carleton Ravens have been invited to the 2026 Canadian University/College Golf Championships presented by BDO, June 16-19, 2026, in Lêvis, QC.
The tournament will take place at Golf La Tempête. A world-class course just outside of Quebec City. The course has hosted world-renowned golfers such as Sergio Garcia, Fred Couples, and Mike Weir. It hosted the 2009 Telus World Skins Game and the 2014 PGA Tour Champions event, the Championnat de Quebec. La Tempête is set to host the Canadian amateur championships in 2031 and 2033.
The Ravens men's team are returning to the tournament for their second time in as many seasons. The Ravens' top finisher at last year's competition was veteran Ty Rouse. Rouse carded a +5 through four rounds, including low rounds of 70 and 72 in the middle of the tournament. Ty's brother Dylan also put up a 71 on Thursday as the Ravens pushed to make the cut.
Dylan will look to build on the momentum he gained in the fall, carding a 70 on the final day of the OUA Championships to earn an OUA bronze medal.
After finishing fifth at the 2025 OUA Championships, the Ravens women will also be heading to nationals. A small but mighty squad, the Ravens women, led by Claire Stoney, jumped two spots on the final day of this year's OUA tournament, led by scores of 77 and 78 from Stoney and Sanvi Swarup.
Stoney's final day 77 saw her jump five spots on the leaderboard, earning her a top ten finish in eighth. Swarup also climbed eight spots on the final day, finishing T16, giving the Ravens a pair of top twenty finishes.
The success of the Carleton Ravens' golf team and their participation in the championship would not have been possible without the support of the Carleton community. The Ravens would like to thank everyone who has supported the Golf Fund and continues to do so.
