Ottawa (October 6, 2025) - The Ravens opened their season Friday night with a 3-2 win at Queen's.
The Ravens were resilient against the 2024 OUA East finalist Queen's Gaels, falling behind 1-0 before rallying for the win. Nick McCarry was first to bulge the twine for the Ravens on Friday, picking up a drop pass as he entered the zone and making no mistake snapping it high glove side.
Robbie Rutledge wasted little time breaking the deadline just minutes later, weaving between two defenders and snapping his shot into the top corner while falling backwards to take the lead.
After a sensational rookie season, Felix Bedard would notch his first of the year early in the second to extend the lead to 3-1. Cameron Tolnai set up Liam Tanner for a shorthanded goal midway through the second period, but Dylan Meilun would shut the door the rest of the way. In his first OUA game, the former Winkler Flyers goaltender would make 24 saves, including 10 in the third.
