Women's Hockey Name Magoffin Assistant Coach
Former FISU Team Canada member Jaime Magoffin to join Ravens coaching staff.
The Carleton Ravens women's hockey team have announced Jaime Magoffin as the team's new full-time assistant coach alongside Stacey Colarossi.
A member of the Guelph Gryphons from 2020-2025, Jaime played 87 U SPORTS games before playing professionally in Poland in 2025-26. In 2024-25, Jaime represented Canada at the Torino 2025 FISU World University Games. Playing for a staff that included Ravens' head coach Stacey Colarossi, Jaime and Team Canada claimed silver at the tournament.
"I had the opportunity to play for Stacey at FISU, and she is one of the people who made that experience so rewarding," shared Jaime. "I am grateful to now work alongside Stacey, and I know she will help me learn and grow immensely as a coach."
"Bringing Jaime on board as Assistant Coach is positive for us," explained Ravens' head coach Stacey Colarossi. "She's a former captain with the Guelph Gryphons who truly understands the culture and high standards of a contending OUA locker room."
Magoffin is joining a Ravens team that is continuing to grow into their own in the OUA. "This team has a bright future," she expressed. "I am eager to see how my role can contribute to its continued growth and success. As a department, Carleton Athletics has achieved impressive success year after year, making it an exceptional environment to be part of."
A former captain at Guelph, Magoffin will bring not only her leadership and professional hockey experience to the Ravens but also a background in Sport Management, which will help grow the program.
The coaching staff and the Ravens continue to prepare for the 2026-27 season, which opens on October 7, 2026, at Nipissing.
