Bio
Courchaine has been coaching women’s hockey since 1998, having previously served as a head coach primarily with the KGHA and Ottawa Lady Sens at the U15, U18 and U22 levels prior to joining Carleton when Coach Stacey took over the program 4 years ago.
Courchaine played his minor and junior hockey in Ottawa before accepting a scholarship to attend the College of St. Scholastica (Duluth, Minn.) where he was a three-time NAIA All-American goaltender and two-time NAIA national champion. In 2012 Courchaine was named to the St. Scholastica Athletics Hall of Fame. Courchaine was also Manager of the National Capital select U16 baseball team for three consecutive Ontario Summer Games beginning in 2002.
