Ottawa, Ont. (Sept. 22, 2025) - The Carleton women's soccer team took four of a possible six points from the #3-ranked UOttawa Gee-Gees over the weekend with a pair of impressive comebacks during the annual derby.
With a short turnaround from Friday's game, the Ravens would find themselves behind again on Sunday after Nibo Dlamini scored just before the half. After being outshot 8-4 in the opening 45 minutes, Carleton charged back in the second. After earning a corner in the 56th, it would be rookie Olivia Crombie who tied the game, hammering an Olympico inside the near post.
The Carleton defence would ward off a few Gee-Gees corners and some late pressure, but would take the well-earned point on the road, vaulting Carleton to fourth in the OUA East table.
The Ravens are now unbeaten in four since losing to 5-0-1 Nipissing and return home Friday night to host the 1-5-1 Trent Excalibur. On Sunday, the Ravens will travel to Kingston to face RMC (2-4-1).
