Peterborough, ON (Sept. 14, 2025) - The Carleton Ravens women's soccer team improved to 4-2 on the season this weekend after collecting a pair of wins on the road.
The Ravens wrapped up a perfect road trip on Sunday, beating the Trent Excallibur 2-0. The win comes less than 24 hours after beating Ontario Tech 2-0 on Saturday.
Not willing to let up, the Ravens brought the heat early on Sunday as they met the Trent Excallibur. With aggressive pressure all over the pitch, Carleton turned the screw throughout the first half before finally opening the scoring just before the half. Olivia Rheaume's first OUA goal was the difference after 45 minutes as Carleton led 1-0.
A strong push back to start the second from Trent would come apart when Carleton drew a penalty in the box ten minutes into the half. First-year Olivia Crombie would step up to the spot and score her first OUA goal to provide the brace.
"Both games this weekend were hard-fought, but our players showed tremendous determination and teamwork from start to finish," shared Ravens coach Dominic Oliveri. "I'm really proud of how they battled through the tough moments and came away with all six points on the road."
