Carleton was a perfect 2-0 in pool play on Tuesday, advancing to Wednesday's knockout round.
The Carleton Ravens women's basketball team picked up a pair of wins on Tuesday morning to advance to the quarterfinals at the FISU America 3x3 Tegucigalpa 2026 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
The Ravens were persistent all morning long, earning a pair of victories over the University of Magallanes (Chile) and the Universidad de Azuel (Ecuador). In their opener, the Ravens found their rhythm partway through the 10 minutes and pulled away from the Chilean side for a 20-8 win. Carleton continued their rise through pool play with a strong start against UDA. The Ravens used their shooting range and discipline to overcome pushback from the Ecuador side to finish top of the group.
Carleton's lineup consists of Catherine Oliver, Tyanne Matosas-Adderley, Kyana-Jade Poulin and Jacqueline Urban.
With the win, the Ravens advance to their fifth consecutive 3x3 elimination round. Carleton returns to the court on Wednesday for the quarterfinals, currently scheduled for 12:40 PM (EDT). The Ravens will face the second-place finisher in Pool D. Pool play action wraps up Wednesday morning.
The Ravens have their sights set on a third consecutive FISU America 3x3 title and fifth consecutive FISU 3x3 tournament final. Carleton entered the FISU America 3x3 tournament as the two-time reigning champions and the 2025 FISU University World Cup 3x3 Basketball champions.
Note: A previous edit listed Carleton playing the second-place finisher in Pool C, the schedule has since been changed.
