Ottawa, Ont. (Nov. 10, 2025) - The Carleton Ravens women's basketball team wrapped up a competitive weekend with a split on the road, falling to Queen's on Saturday before bouncing back with a win over Ontario Tech on Sunday.
The Ravens rebounded on Sunday with a strong performance in Oshawa, led again by Kyana-Jade Poulin, who matched her season-high with 30 points, including a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. The Ravens led by just four at the half, but extended the lead to 10 after three quarters.
Jacqueline Urban dominated the glass with 14 rebounds and chipped in 16 points, while Abany Deng added 13 points in a balanced team effort. Carleton shot an efficient 50.8% from the field and scored 48 points in the paint, using a third-quarter surge to build a lead they never relinquished.
The Ridgebacks held their own against the Ravens throughout the first half, thanks in large part to their three-point shooting. Ontario Tech were 6 for 11 from the land beyond, for 18 of their 37 first-half points.
